A hard fought 3-1 victory for Kinvara United U12 Boys Navy against Cregmore/Claregalway FC yesterday.
Playing against a strong wind in the first half, the boys were held to 0-0 scoreline at half-time. Cregmore then brought on a fresh team for the second half, but Kinvara played a great passing game to conserve energy, breaking through for two great goals by Mark O'Grady.
Despite being tired and Cregmore getting a goal back, Kinvara's steely determination held the game, which was sealed with a further goal by Tadhg Ganly which put the game out of reach for the opposition to finish 3-1 in Kinvara's favour.
Every player made their mark today, with a strong and concerted team effort securing a brilliant win.
